Do what you know you have to do!

So this week I started making purses or tote bags. It is something I have been thinking about for a while especially with making the wallets. Soooo, I made the first "Queen" bag with a zipper it came out great as I have been using zippers for a while. But to cut time I thought about making 1 without a zipper so I made a "Worthy Worth It and Priceless" Black and Gold bag. Chile the bag itself came out cute. But it's on the inside what you don't see. I wasn't happy with. It was driving me nuts! I started cutting and re-sewing, send pics to my mom. I  knew I had to put a zipper in it but I was determined to avoid it since I already started. (That's a message right there! How many times have you tried to avoid what you knew in your heart you were supposed to do just because you didn't want to go through with the process.) So I decided let's ask the customers. So I went to my Facebook friends and ask the question "For a tote bag would you prefer to have a zipper or not" You can guess what everyone said ZIPPER! I gave up, I made a new "Worthy Worth It and Priceless" Black and White bag with a zipper.

Lesson:I knew what I had to do but for laziness or trying to find another technique I tried a different way wasted time and fabric all because I didn't do what I needed to do. Look at your own life. Stop avoiding what you know you have to do. Stop avoiding that dream or passion. Because you don't want to go through the process. You are meant to be great in this life. We see more and more that tomorrow isn't promised. Decide to push yourself to reach greatness. I know you can do it!
