Hair Encouragement

How you wear your hair is up to you. No one can tell you as an adult how to wear your hair. We all know there are the exception s like jobs and things. But outside of that No can tell you how to wear you hair. You shouldn't let other peoples opinions stop you, from doing what you know in your heart is right. Or stop you from having the look you want to have.
I have cut off my hair a few times each experience has been different I loved it but a lot of times I allowed others to cheat me out of something I wanted.Like the unwanted stares, the unnessacy questions, and the uninvited opinions.
Now is the time to allow yourself to be free!!! Don't let others dictate your life, how you look or act. Its your life enjoy it.

Don't Skimp on Life

The picture was an email from my grandma Dorothy.

Life is meant to be lived. We let fear stop us from living the BEST parts of life. When we were children, we wanted to do and be everything. We had great imaginations. Now I realize you realize that some of those things aren't as possible as we once thought but that shouldn't stop us from living altogether!
Let's talk about fears. Okay I'll use myself as an example. When I was 18 years old, I started talking driving lessons. My first couple went great. We the instructor started teaching me how to turn. My Lord, I got it a few times but this 1 time as I am driving turning I ran over the curb. She grabbed the wheel even though she had her own wheel. It was a argument she scared the heck out of me.I never really been behind a wheel since. Due to public transportation, not having the desire, no one to take me, and not wanting to pay for the lessons. Now see what I did there, I gave you excuses. But driving gives you freedom. I said that to allow you to look at your fear if you conquer your fear it will give you freedom. Freedom to know whatever you believe is possible. Don't let fear stop your drive to success! Don't let fear cheat you out of life.

Going forward face those fears and live the life you are supposed to.

Keep Your Hands Off

Some things you have to leave to the professionals. There are times when we should just leave things alone.
Although I used my hair and cell phone to tell the story. We make matters worst when we act impulsively. Take a second breathe then act.

Reclaiming Your Life: Steps 5-7

Finally back with the last few steps to the series. My laptop is messed up but I didn't want to let that stop me. (That's how laziness sets in among other things.)

Step 5: Take Inventory

Look at everything about yourself and your surroundings meaning your friends family everything. Are they beneficial or are they a hindrance?
During this step get in touch with yourself. Get to know yourself. Do research on the things that make you unique. Okay everyone will not agree with this but I did birth charts and numerology for this for entertainment. But I realized some of it was accurate as far as that goes. What ever you have to do it.

Step 6: Process of Elimination

You may remember this from school. During this step, anything that don't work distance yourself from it. You have to do what's best for you. You don't want to keep dead weight around you. It will stop your growth.

Step 7: Create an Action Plan & LIVE.

Figure out what you want out of life. Make list of your goals and a plan how to reach them. Start living it's just that simple.

Worth A Look: Precious Starr

I would like to introduce Precious Starr.
She is a beast(in a good way) in front of the camera. You can see from the pictures below she doesn't take bad pics and you can also see she can rock ANY hairstyle even bald.

Precious Starr in her own words:
I really dont like to call myself a model, I haven't earned that title, I just love the art of photography and being in front of the camera. For the most part I'm a very quiet person I like to let my actions do all the talking. I been doing photography since 2011. Taking photos is a passion, it is something that I love. I don't expect anything from what I do except self fulfillment but if an opportunity presents itself I will gladly accept.

God Can Break Down Walls

S. day Best - Leandria's Stfrom Seventh ward on vimeo.

She told Associated Press how some of the contestants were staring at her. "The whole time, some were like 'Oh, what does she have on?' Or, 'Why does she dress like that?' I got those looks. I dealt with all that. I almost left. But it was a little voice in me that told me to stand [still]. From there, I've watched God change my life one episode at a time."

I wanted to post Pastor Leandria's story to give you encouragement. No matter what you are going through God can and will make away for you. He can turn your life around. Through these videos I will show you parts of her journey.

She went on to win Sunday's Best. Become a pastor and Grammy Award Winner.
Here's a video of here speaking about what she went through after winning.

The second video is her winning a Grammy.

Appreciate your Life

On July 13th 2014 I spend my day in the hospital. Instead of praising God on Sunday. I was praying to God for my condition to get better. Thank God it wasn't serious but its the point. As I was going home I started to think. For the past few years I have been in the hospital for things nothing that major like a computer fell on my head, I slid into a needle while I was sewing but the biggest was getting my appendix removed. Some of these things could've been avoided SERIOUSLY but it was because I was being reckless and didn't care. I have known since I was a child I have kidney/bladder issues nothing has really been THAT serious but it has been present. I was told as a child that I need to drink more water. As an adult I still don't drink water as much as I should.  But why?
A little DEEPER thinking now think of what was stated above drinking water in some aspects could have prevented a LOT of my hospital visits/bills. But I didn't do it. Why? because of options. As an adult we have  the option to drink EVERYTHING under the sun. So Why would we chose water? Water is usually a dull taste it doesn't do much for you but quench your thirst ( I am under estimating the power of water for a purpose) but it's good for us.
Now think of water as things in your life. You KNOW what you are suppose to do. But we avoid it. We have EVERY excuse in the book not to do what we suppose to. We go to our other OPTIONS. Even though our options are not good for us. We still chose them because they look good, they taste good. And then we look and end up somewhere we are not suppose to then we realize we should've just stuck to water.

There is something special inside of all of us. Sometimes the pressure can take us somewhere we don't want to be. Stick to what you know is right. Do what you can to improve your life.
There are countries that would love to have the water we take for granted. There are also people who would love to have the problems you have. Appreciate your life.
